Holy FUCK! [31 Jan 2007|06:30pm]
[ mood | hot ]

He is a sex god.

I am at a loss for words.

The best part is I'm seeing him in the play Equus this summer...IN LONDON! He's going to be naked for a scene. I can't see his wand. Oh, and his acting.

Alright, Holly... [30 Jun 2006|07:47pm]
[ mood | lazy ]

...I don't think the CalSO entry's going to happen. I know, I know. I'm an insolent arse. But I'd rather just tell you what went down on July 7th at the movie theater. I'll be dressed up as a trashy pirate, mate. Briana better be there, too. In full pirate regalia, nonetheless. But, seriously, I'll write it later. Lay-ter. I love that book, man.

I just landed a job selling kitchen cutlery. It pays well, so I'm happy. And there's no door-to-door selling or telemarketing.

I'm a little nervous at the moment because I'm getting a full anesthetic for a surgery on Monday, July 3. Here's the part where the dramatic edge of this news dissipates: I'm having my wisdom teeth pulled out.

Apologies to those whom I told to expect an entry on CalSO yesterday. I'm so lazy. CalSO wiped me out. Don't worry, though. It's coming! Also, I have a job interview tomorrow. So, that's exciting.

For Holly [13 Jun 2006|02:21pm]
[ mood | blah ]

Alright, so this isn't a lengthy post. Sorry, Holly. But my life isn't very interesting right now. My uncle is visiting from Alaska, so I'm spending my time hanging out with him in my house. Anyway, here's a short update:

1) I am quickly forsaking LiveJournal for Facebook.
2) Today is International Snood Day, so go play it, everyone!
3) CalSo is six days away - exciting!

666 [07 Jun 2006|01:08am]
[ mood | scared ]

So, it's not 06/06/06 anymore. However, I did celebrate it by going to see The Omen with Allegra. Damn, it was scary! It was actually lame and laughable at certain parts, but it was frightening in the sense that it relied on sudden grotesque images for an intense emotional effect. What made the movie enjoyable was that the whole audience, which was huge (when we arrived forty-five minutes before the movie started, there was already a long line), was engrossed in the film. A lot of the audience members had strong verbal and visceral reactions to the sporadic creepy scenes. After a shocking shot of one character's face, the black guy sitting on my right said, "Whoa! That nigger is ugly!" So, that comment was nice for relieving the suspense. It also made me urinate and wet my pants. The movie featured the actress who played Daisy Buchanan from the movie version of The Great Gatsby that we watched in Ms. Reinheimer's class junior year. The woman's name is Mia Farrow. She played a creepy nanny. The movie also starred the actor who played Professor Remus Lupin in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban - David Thewlis. I love seeing connections to Harry Potter! The little boy who played Damien was just adorable when he didn't look satanic with that deathly pale skin, red under-eye circles, and sinister smirk. Also, jackal (as in, the animal) skeletons appear quite out-of-place on the silver screen. I noticed that tonight. Man, I'm so jittery right now from that movie, though. Seriously! Eek!

Gross Google [10 May 2006|10:06pm]
[ mood | dirty ]

Okay, this probably isn't news to any of you, but I'm fairly slow when it comes to popular knowledge. So, I just realized that random, completely non-sexual and non-anatomical words typed into the Google images search window turn up pretty disgusting images on Google. When I say "pretty," I mean unimaginably, innocence-snatchingly, and mind-numbingly.

[ mood | studying for the BC exam ]

So, today was the I.B. English Paper One and I don't want to seem arrogant or anything, but it was pretty easy. That seems to be the general sentiment, anyway. Mr. Drew's hair is magical. So, who chose (a), who chose (b), and who is going to have disturbing dreams tonight about the retarded string-a-ling connecting device?

Joining the Angry Bandwagon [26 Apr 2006|08:13pm]
[ mood | pissed off ]

After visiting several people's LJ's (Briana's seems to have the most extensive coverage - you're awesome, Briana!), it is clear that today's posts are focused on The Day of Silence and the events regarding GLBT students and the Slavic Christian Club and their allies. Personally, I am enraged that people could be so hateful and intolerant towards individuals who have caused them no harm whatsoever and are only trying to cope with their need for a different kind of love that too many people in our society cannot accept. Also, I am rather disillusioned by the intolerance that erupted today on what many would like to regard as a very accepting high school campus. I think the Slavic Christian Club was way out of line with the manner in which they chose to express themselves. Seriously, they have the right to whatever opinion they please, but when they try to brashly impose their views on others in discriminatory, myopic ways, then it becomes unjust. Furthermore, the reasoning they chose to support their arguments was completely erroneous. Like Sunny, I am disappointed that our society is still so intolerant, but as long as these people reproduce and indoctrinate their children with hateful, illogical rhetoric, then we will always have to stand up against their blatant disregard for the human rights of peace and safety. The responses of the GSA and the Mira Loma administration were examples of how we can oppose irrational homophobia without succumbing to the same fallacies of logic and one-mindedness that certain members of the SCC and others exhibited today. Thankfully, their actions were quite unsuccessful in that they incited no major retaliation from those who support gay rights. I'm anxious about tomorrow, though. It could get nasty.

I Did Something Right, For Once... [23 Apr 2006|07:05pm]
[ mood | content ] choosing to go to Cal. I went there Saturday and let's just say that Cal and I are going to have a beautiful relationship over the next four years. Berkeley is an awesome city. What's strange is that Allegra and I saw Joe there. What? I thought he was supposed to be in Pasadena at the Pre-Frosh Weekend at Caltech. I mean, hasn't he decided to go there? Maybe not, but I was very surprised to see him there as he graced Cal with his presence. Ashveer, if we don't get into Unit 1 or Unit 2, we're screwed because Unit 3 sucks major monkey balls compared to the other two.

Also, I.B. tests start in nine freakin' days. Ho-ho-holy crap! Sorry to let you down, Mr. K., but I'm getting a four at the most. Not kidding there.

Mr. K. came back today and that made the day 1,000,000 times better. Life is good for the time being. Now it's time to read about menstruation and my dear Aunt Flo.

There's something else, too. Guess what? Everyone knows already, but...I'm going to Cal! Hell yeah! Sorry, but, I just like to bask in the glow of the situation. It's called boasting and I enjoy it immensely.
